Outrageous Fortune will be joining in the outdoor festivities of Celebrate Weston. There will be booths from your favorite local organizations like the Weston Forest and Trail Association and Friends of Sustainable Weston; and lots of delish food offerings from local vendors. Also featuring several additional wonderful bands: Hot Tamale Brass Band (New Orleans Jazz); and The Ways & Means Committee (Mellow blues sound). Not to be missed!

The concert and jam session our guitar player, Chris, has been leading continues, this month at The Weston Art & Innovation Center. This month's concert theme is ‘May Mostly Monk’ Songs of Thelonious Monk! Come down and hear the top notch house band sing and play great mainstream jazz; stay to hear an array of talented singers and instrumentalists join us (you don't have to sit in - you can just come and listen! ).

Our guitarist also is a singist with Boston Jazz Voices. Boston Jazz Voices is a coed a cappella jazz group in the tradition of The Real Group, The King Singers and Singers Unlimited. A rare chance to enjoy this wonderful group -- as seen singing the National Anthem at Fenway Park and on WGBH's "Sing That Thing"†. Free, but come early, or be prepared to stand.
